It is always nice to try something new, something you haven’t done before. At the end of it all you always learn something, like not to put your tripod on one of those green sandboxes that we have in Sweden… Without putting on extra weight on the tripod when standing on a highly trafficked city bridge, right at the place where the bridge meets the foundation… Things shake and move quiet a bit when buses and heavy trucks pass… Don’t worry nothing went over… 😬😏😳

Unfortunately my car is waiting for a little bit of love so until it is fixed, i’ll have to shoot some other cars… And then when it’s fixed I can finally get back to nature landscapes.

On the night between 301021 & 311021 I managed to get a Little bit of luck and capture the following timelapse. It isn’t every time that you get lucky when you’re out Hunting for the Northern Lights. Sorry if the image is a little bit choppy. The initial idea wasn’t to create a timelapse… Haven’t done any post editing besides running it through Lightroom and assembling the timelapse.

The Northern lights only a few minutes outside of #UppsalaCity. Not the strongest lights or the best conditions to photograph them. Plenty of light pollution as well as passing trucks and cars which you can see on the horizon.
The air quality wasn’t the clearest, there was quite a lot of humidity in the air close to the ground which made the light pollution even worse.

This was shot on the evening of 30-310819. At the end of September we are expecting hi solar activity which may or may not produce more northern lights. Just hoping that the weather will be clear.

When I shot these images they were never intended to become a little #timelapse just keep that in mind when watching 😅 .

Still trying to perfect my time lapse teknik. Lesson learned; don’t stand on a bloody bridge with people crossing it while shooting. Remember that this is shot just for fun! Editing isn’t the best but then again I figured I got to put something on it besides just the time lapse itself .

Believe It or not, on occasion I do get lucky as a #northernlights hunter. This was shots in #Dalsland where I have been working as an activities guide for this summer. This was shot from one of the #zipline towers located near @dalslandsaktiviteter. I only had a very brief moment to shoot the lights. The hike up to the tower is a little bit of a hassel in the dark and when I reached the top of the tower I realized the weather was going bad really quickly. So instead of shooting stills I decided to do a quick #timelapse. This was shots on the night of 260818! .
Look closely, just above the horizon and you will see the Aurora dancing in the sky behind the clouds! .
